At Hand Theatre Company is seeking a bright and energetic person to play a vital role in helping to establish and shape the future of this exciting, emerging company. The Managing Director position is a new role we are looking to co-create with a resourceful, motivated, and organized individual, who is passionate and excited about theatre. Our Managing Director will work closely with our Executive Director on a variety of projects such as: grant research, tracking and maintaining the finances and expenses of the company, and developing marketing initiatives for up-coming productions, as well as serving as Production Manager for our productions, readings, benefits, and fundraising projects. Applicants need to be strong communicators and pro-active, self-motivated types who can devote approximately ten hours a week to this volunteer position. (If you’d like to do more – we won’t stop you!) As our company grows, we hope to make this a paid position.
